Head of +70 person division and member of Senior Management Committee for world’s largest exchange group - Three clearinghouses (cash &derivatives markets) / +600 clearing participants / bank guarantors / custodians / settlement banks / buy-in-brokers / margining methodology / capital and liquidity stress testing / participant default and default fund management / market surveillance / RMD resource support/assessment of new products & services.- Group level ERM framework development, implementation and management, market contingency planning. - Risk Management Committee risk reporting and major incident escalation and reporting policy management.- Progressive material HKEx risk management framework enhancement execution.

Head of risk management function for Europe’s 3rd largest derivatives exchange and clearing house operator managing risks tied to 47 clearing members and 300+ direct pledging counterparties trading/clearing equities, index and fixed income options and futures for multiple European markets. Managed cross-border risk to linked clearinghouses in UK (LCH) and Norway (VPS Clearing ASA). Delivered material improvements to risk management framework and achieved full compliance with CPSS IOSCO standards for CCPs (regulatory authority and central bank attested).

• Global risk limit control and overall client management responsibility for all North American fin’l institutions including: commercial & investment banks and insurance companies. (+100 clients / Global risk limit exposure: $41B).• Global risk limit control covered the following products: ST Interest Rate Products (Money Market, FX, Repo, Securities Lending, and Total Return Swaps); Fixed Income Derivatives (Swaps and Options); Equity Derivatives; and Structured Credit Products (Credit Default Swaps, securitization and loan risk participations).
