My name is Kevin Waymire, I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in Kansas and Florida. I have worked with various populations over the course of my practice which includes helping people navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, identity, and relational problems.I enjoy a positive and solutions focused approach to therapy. What this means is that I know you already have the ability within you to navigate what you may be going through and my role is to help you unravel the complexity of life that has caused you to feel stuck. No one has to walk through the fire alone.After the first session my clients often tell me how much better they feel just from being heard and validated. I believe therapy needs to be a place without bias or judgment. I also believe trust and rapport are crucial elements to your healing process. As a therapist I realize I am only in your life for a season and until those rough waves smooth out, I want you to feel supported, encouraged and empowered as you navigate the change process.
