In my current role as Director of Marketing at MV+A, I’ve lead the effort to refine and reinforce the firm’s mission and brand, messaging means and methods, and broader communication initiatives in order to better position the firm for growth. In addition to completely revamping all of the firm’s existing marketing assets—portfolio, website, newsletter, etc.—I’ve expanded these assets to include a wide range of video and motion content, significantly bolstered the firm’s social media presence, and developed a proactive approach that engages leadership and staff with the intention of cultivating and promoting the firm’s culture and mission.As part of my effort to refashion the firm’s newsletter, MV+A | Design Brief, I have introduced ‘white paper’ inspired special editions, published every few months, providing in-depth analysis of mission-critical issues and market trends. These research forays have led to my improvised role as an in-house innovation evaluator—reviewing and presenting research on various opportunities for utilizing AI and generative planning [GP] applications. In addition to evaluating GP programs such as Delve, Test-Fit, Forma and others, I have utilized Chat GPT to create several custom GPTs for reviewing and writing construction specifications, navigating regional housing issues and entitlements, and enhancing and expanding app integrations for the firm's Microsoft Teams 'intranet'.
