As the Creative director of FirstView Media, I am tasked with upholding the creative standards whilst continually exploring new boundaries in design and business solutions. On a day to day level my… Show more As the Creative director of FirstView Media, I am tasked with upholding the creative standards whilst continually exploring new boundaries in design and business solutions. I oversee 4 designers, a copywriter and a development team of 10 and work amongst three client service members as well as two digital producers. I am heavily involved in the strategic development of the business, including new business, staff development, recruitment as well as disciplinary actions. On a day to day level my role consists of developing full brand solutions from the ground up, from name and brand identity, to creative strategy in conjunction with digital strategies to ensure maximum return and reach for the tough South African climate. I oversee and am heavily involved in a range of jobs from User Experience design, wireframing, Strategic brand positioning, client presentations, brand DNA as well as full digital solutions (from email CRM, Facebook applications, Websites, E-commerce) as well as all and any print and experiential collateral. Whilst I am one of three directors, my role requires my full involvement across the disciplines of our studio, from client briefing and presentations, to tracking the entire project to completion with the client services team and traffic manager.
