As a Research Associate for Thomson Reuters, I am responsible for analyzing and process legal documents and providing excellent customer service to our clients. I maintain constant communication with clients, partners, and court clerk’s in order to increase customer retention and expectations. Being able to prioritize multiple orders and maintain an organized and efficient workflow has been crucial to my success in this role.

During my first two years of undergraduate, I helped co-found the SIEPS as a new student organization at Stanford. SIEPS is dedicated to creating an inclusive space for migrant voices and representation, which we aim to do through holding community meetings and addressing pressing migrant issues on campus. We have also worked to partner with local organizations, such as Upward Scholars, in order to directly connect and work with our surrounding community members.

In this role, I worked as a research assistant to a sociology graduate student who is completing her dissertation research. As a research assistant, I conducted various interviews in Spanish and coordinated with several stakeholders. I also analyzed interviews and qualitatively coded them into various spreadsheets for further analysis.

I graduated from Stanford University with my B.A. in Anthropology with Honors. My honors thesis and research focused on Ecuadorian people in the Minneapolis Metro area and understanding the various histories that have led to the growth of an Ecuadorian community.

During my time at the NYC Commission on Human Rights, I interned as a Law Enforcement Bureau Intern where I analyzed legal documents and delivered reports for numerous legal cases. I instituted a new process for sending cease and desist letters to business and people in the NYC area. I also conducted an interview, handled legal case files, and legal work.

Assisted the local English teacher with lesson planning, teaching, and curriculum. I integrated music with language to aid in lesson planning and created 8-12 murals throughout the school's campus

As social media intern, I designed graphics and social media posts for the official Stanford Arts pages. I also assisted with Stanford Arts branding to increase user engagement through online platforms, such as through social media. Specifically, I created an Artist Spotlight Mini-Series in order to highlight student artists at Stanford.

Through my two roles at El Centro, I coordinated and facilitated Latinidad Unfiltered, a weekly series dedicated to discussing Latinx issues. I also designed graphics, advertisements, and social media posts for El Centro. For El Centro's Annual Nuestra Graduacion Ceremony, I managed, designed, and created brochure and programming.

Planning and coordinating events for first-gen and/or low-income (FLI) students at Stanford University. Created a project with fellow FLIP members called the FLI Humans of Stanford. The FLIHOS project was created to uplift marginalized voices on campus by capturing narratives and posting them on Instagram.

Coordinating events for alumni and current seniors as well as reaching out to alumni in order to bridge the gap between Alumni and current undergraduate students at Stanford. Also in charge of consistently updating the Alumni handbook in order for past, current, and future Stanford students to have a centralized location for contacts and networking.

Manage & maintain the information and content on the DGen websites, including the official DGen site, Opportunity Fund site, and FLI Alum site. I work with a fellow webmaster on the DGen/Opp Fund/Alumni websites and other miscellaneous technical needs of the office. I work closely with the Communications Coordinator to manage a unified publicity strategy through social media, emails, and the website.

As a Corporate Liason intern, I served as a liaison to our companies during regular Friday meetings as well as organize company information sessions. I also coordinated tours and other events with our company partners to allow undergraduates with in-person experience of the engineering field. As a Academic Director intern, I assisted in organizing weekly study nights events with tutors as well as coordinate a faculty dinner for SOLE members.
