With over a decade of experience in labor and community organizing, I am a union organizer at AFT-Maryland, where I apply my communication, writing, and leadership skills to advance the interests and rights of disenfranchised workers across the state. I mobilize, educate, and empower workers to fight for fair wages, benefits, and working conditions, and to create positive social change and improve the lives of workers and their communities.I am passionate about building solidarity and collective action among workers and allies, and I have supported various initiatives and campaigns that address issues such as food insecurity, environmental justice, and education reform. For example, I collaborated with local farmers and volunteers to transform a vacant home into a youth and community farming center, where I coordinated educational workshops and trainings, and created a social media campaign to raise awareness and engagement. I am proud to be part of the AFT-Maryland team, and I am committed to championing workers' rights and social justice.
