Homeward Bound is a groundbreaking leadership program, turned global movement, aiming to heighten the influence and impact of women with a science / STEMM background on policy and decision making as it shapes our planet.I'm part of Homeward Bound's world-leading multidisciplinary faculty comprising experts across leadership, strategy, science, communications, wellbeing and other domains. As 2018 program/on-board psychologist, facilitator, coach and coaching supervisor, I designed the program's peer coaching initiative and continue to support and deepen the impact of the growing cohort.Each year, Homeward Bound gathers up to 80 of a targeted 1,000 women from around the world, all with critical science backgrounds, to undertake a year-long, state-of-the-art program to develop their leadership and strategic capabilities, using science to build conviction and impact. The inaugural program culminated in the largest-ever female expedition to Antarctica in December 2016, with a focus on the leadership of women and the state of the world.

As Learning and Development Manager of the Australian arm of a leading global financial services group, I formulated and implemented the people and leadership development strategy to achieve challenging performance targets within the organisation’s four-year transformation program. During this time, I supervised the placement activities of Organisational Psychology post-graduate (doctoral) students, implemented a coaching and mentoring program to develop high potential leaders, managed the delivery of the company’s first corporate-wide induction and front-line leadership programs and facilitated team development initiatives to embed a significant culture change program.

I grew my career during the economic recession of the early ‘90’s. I worked with financial advisers to build capabilities and resilience in the face of major industry reform and gained valuable internal consulting experience partnering with business executives to deliver large-scale restructuring and change projects.
