I have extensive experience caring for a diverse population with various diagnoses. I am skilled in IV therapy including PICC's and central line care, wound care, blood draws, ostomy care, peg tube care including the administration of medication and feedings, tracheostomy management including site care, suctioning, and changing. I've cared for patients with cardiac conditions, COPD, PTSD, orthopedic, dialysis, schizophrenia, bipolar, Alzheimer's, dementia, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, amputations, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and multiple other conditions. I have completed 2/3 semesters to receive my associate's degree in nursing and plan to continue my education at Austin Community College since relocating to Austin Texas.I love caring for and serving people even though at times it requires only a listening ear and patience. I am passionate about all things beauty and would love to become an esthetician and cosmetologist with my nursing background. I would love the opportunity to work in a medical spa or dermatologist office.
