I’m not what you may consider a traditional Talent and People Operations professional due to my instructional background. However, my time in the classroom has allowed me to develop crucial transferable skills that will contribute to the core functions of a People Department: the ability to use communication to build relationships and establish trust; the desire to geek out over labels and awesome templates to systematically organize a digital workspace; and extensive training regarding analysis of behavioral and performance data to create and execute Talent related strategy. All of these skills from my experiences in classrooms were honed with an unwavering commitment to the job at hand: increase performance, achievement and personal growth in order to fulfill one's destiny and potential.Due to this, I believe my passion for recognizing and nurturing prospective talent, coupled with a strong interest in supporting professional pathways and incubating an atmosphere of inclusivity gives me a unique edge. In short, I'm the Talent & People Operations professional who truly aspires to develop and build capacity in others in an environment where they feel safe to take risks, ask hard questions, and are provided ample opportunities for meaningful training and learning experiences. I truly get excited about opportunities where I'm able to work alongside highly creative and progressive people with a strong mission and purpose who put their trust in utilizing research and data to create best practices.In a society that is constantly evolving, the continuation of inquiry, development and education to shape the culture of an organization is central to growth.
