About Minh Pham
Portfolium: https://portfolium.com/khaiminh93With a lifelong desire to study and practice medicine, I am concerned with the whole person—the medical and social/emotional aspects of wellness from the patient’s personal view and cultural perspective. I am a strong advocate for preventive medicine, family medicine, and research on the impact of invasive disease on patient care and internal cardiology. In short, the dynamic of the human body and experience fascinates me.I'm seeking an internship, associateship or partnership with or without a potential practice buy-in and one-on-one interaction in dealing with the complexity of medical insurance. Quality of delivery and affordable patient care will be the focus of my professional career. My friends and colleagues know me to be extremely motivated, hard-working, and able to adapt swiftly to new environments and cultures. One reason for this is the fact that I have acclimated to and thrived in a second culture and language. I have the confidence of my success so far, but have not lost my understanding of the challenges of new ventures and circumstances, and I am willing to devote all my energy and potential to a professional practice environment. In addition to my academic and professional career development, I sincerely wish to accumulate a wealth of knowledge and experience in medical and business protocols from an experienced partner and practice, and I am committed to energetically and productively helping my partner(s) grow his / her practice. As a potential long-term goal, I am considering pursuing a J.D. so that I may learn about the legal aspects of medical practice; however, there is much medical study and work to do before that.In addition to my primary focus on medical practice, I am also deeply interested in various other fields. These include biotechnology, abnormal and biological psychology, human physiology, as well as social and behavioral sciences. These additional interests stem from my passion for public health and public policy. By exploring these areas, I aim to broaden my understanding of the complex interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors that influence health outcomes and shape public policies. This multidisciplinary approach allows me to delve deeper into the intricacies of healthcare, paving the way for a more comprehensive and holistic approach to improving the well-being of individuals and communities.

Cooperation Supplemental Instruction For S.T.E.M Program
What is SI?Supplemental Instruction is an academic assistance program designed to help students in historically difficult classes. SI provides regularly scheduled, out-of-class, peer-facilitated sessions.Which classes offer SI?At SCC, classes that have SI are the gatekeeper math and science courses--the first course in a series for STEM majors. We currently offer SI to some sections of Bio 211, Bio 239, Chem 219, Phy 217, and Math 180. Please click the link below to see a list of courses offering SI and the corresponding scheduled meeting dates. Fall 2012 Schedule for Biology, Calculus, College Algebra, Chemistry, and Physics Supplemental instruction was first developed in 1973 at The University of Missouri-Kansas City. It is now taught in over 700 institutions throughout the nation and in over twelve countries. After extensive research and data collection, it is found that students who participate in SI within the targeted historically difficult courses earn higher mean final course grades than students who do not participate in SI. Also, students participating in SI persist at the institution (reenrolling and graduating) at higher rates than students who do not participate in SI.
