Preparing the test Facility for internal combustion engines running on CNG

As a facility Engineer for the engines testing plant with multi-million dollars in infrastructure equipment comprising HVAC, cooling tower, steam boiler and humidifiers, clean room, fuel storage and handling system, air compressor, fire suppression and various alarm systems for fuel handling, carbon monoxide, ammonia and exhaust fans; I had the following responsibilities:Compliance with TSSA, ESA and CSA regarding installation, maintenance and operation of equipment and associated electrical power and control.Design and implementation of an extensive preventative maintenance program that covered all mechanical systems in the plant.Conducted preventative maintenance for electrical power panels and switch gear.Supervised trade contractors starting with laying down the scope of work, negotiating cost and insuring proper execution.Key role in 5S initiative across the plant with emphasis on health & safety, periodic inspections to identify workplace hazards and implemented remedial actions.Design and implementation of electrical controls for various HVAC systems utilizing PLC's.
