My key job tasks could be summarized as follows:- Drive the technical strategy for Wireline services within the Oman market including upstream NOC and IOCs Shell and BP. Reservoir characterization, EOR, Heavy oil and unconventional/LTO were my key focus.- Responsible for the technology introduction, highlighting the competitive edge of SLB new technologies (NT) and tailor fit-for purpose solutions to upstream O&G companies for improved reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon recovery.- Expanded the footprint in Omani horizontal market and serve clients’ optimum goal of reducing the overall cost/bbl.- Empowered the subsurface team with a clear vision leading to improved productivity and enhanced service quality.

My role is to manage the reservoir characterization innovative projects during their entire lifecycle from project initiation to final delivery and closure, addressing the challenges that the Middle-East clients and Saudi Aramco in particular are facing. The topics cover wide range of applications from carbonates to shale gas involving dielectric dispersion, NMR, resistivity, spectroscopy measurements along with the multiphysics integration. This is in addition to the deep reading technology such as the inter-well resistivity.Also, my role is to draw the roadmaps of the mid and long-term research activities to focus on key themes and develop a concerted research to bring an in-depth understanding of the reservoir evaluation challenges that the E&P customers are facing. Below are the summary of the key achievements:- Secured and led an integrated deep look EM project in partnership with the E&P major Middle East client for enhanced reservoir management. Unique project involving different stakeholders from Middle-East and US. Awarded among the best projects of 2014 within SLB.- Led an 18-month strategic project in Saudi Arabia market addressing the unconventional reservoir challenges.- Drew the roadmap for the mid/long-term research formation evaluation and unconventional resources activities.

During this assignment, I have initiated and developed innovative formation evaluation approaches jointly with the E&P client Saudi Aramco addressing the carbonate reservoirs challenges and enhanced oil recovery. 3 Patents were granted for this work.At an earlier stage, I was responsible for the answer products development of the Borehole Gravity Tool adding a new dimension to the formation evaluation portfolio. I was also involved dor teh workflow enhancement of the dielectric dispersion tool. Wettability and rock texture products were among the achievement.

Worked on a joint research project with Ecole Polytechnique and EDF (French Electricity Supplier). The latter has funded my PhD thesis to develop a quiet interesting technique helping to monitor the reliability of nuclear power plants.
