• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks• Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, IP phones, Access Points, and servers• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation• Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security • Enhancing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

• Monitor the performance of Mada and Zain Sites using a variety of tools. Look for hardware, software, and environmental alerts or malfunctions. And escalate the reported issues to the technical teams after conducting the proper troubleshooting and provide the findings to the technical teams.• Acts as the first point of escalation for B2B customers in regards to any IP, switching and transmission related problems. Handles faults properly and cooperates with level one and other technical departments in order to solve complicated problems.• Checks periodically the unstable sites, points out the reason(s) behind instability and advises other departments accordingly.• Monitor and supervise for all the activities done within the Data center, and report any issues detected to the concerned departments

• Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received plus Monitoring Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.• Responsible for maintenance of Documentation of IT/Communications Department.• Responsible for the incident management process by acting as the 1st line of support for all technical issues, including hardware and software questions and consulting, installations, networking, network connection requests, and troubleshooting.• Responsible for incident ownership and escalation procedures to the concern teams.• Responsible for recording/logging all incidents and service requests, categorizing them based on priorities and for deciding on the action to be taken on each incident.• Provide quick solutions/workarounds to the users hence reducing their downtime using the Knowledge Base.

• Installing and configuring Cisco devices such as switches, routers and servers.• Installing and configuring Cisco IP cameras.• Monitoring and troubleshooting reported issues from any of the network devices.• Connecting and testing all the cables before using them on the network devices.• Reporting network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.• Establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standard.
