Security Manager
CurrentSCCT is strategically located at the mouth of the Suez Canal – offering zero deviation from one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world – and creating unique access to key markets in the East Mediterranean and Egypt. With the completion of a dredging project which deepened the terminal’s draft of 16.5 meters, and the expected complement of 21 super-post Panamax cranes, SCCT is capable of handling the largest container ships in the global container industry and Phase II increased the annual capacity at SCCT to 5.4 million TEUs. SCCT opened in 2004 as a Joint Venture with APM Terminals the majority shareholder and operator. Responsibilities: 1. Lead, establish improvement, and manage the Security Department & Security Risk.2. Trusted advisor to the country management team on all Security matters.3. Build and develop a uniquely qualified, talented, and dedicated team of people who deliver a singular vision of making.4. Plan and develop the department's strategic direction, aligning it with the overall business plan and strategy of SCCT.5. Establish and execute a communication plan to support SCCT management up to date on security issues/questions affecting SCCT business.6. Managing the tunnels file and all other means of crossing the Suez Canal to improve the connectivity between West & East for increasing SCCT export and import customers in the local market.7. Provides Managerial supervision and direction for the Security, CCTV, Port Passes, and security sub-contractor staff.8. Represents SCCT towards governmental and other authorities related to security issues.9. Investigates reports of incidents involving theft from and security of the port.10. Coordinate SCCT BCM and Supervision implementation of BCP11. Lean Coaching implementation of Lean Tools (VM -SP -TPI - VSM -VOC -PS –KAIZEN- A3-5S) and spread its culture to Security Team.
