Projects in Kuwait, KSA & the region.o Stakeholder management for financial & operational aspects.o Managing design and construction processes including qualifying, tendering, construction and all through to facilities and tenants’ management.o Engaged with international consultants in studying opportunities with focus on acquisitions, master planning, zoning needs, financial analysis and leasing strategies.o Managed relevant authorities in countries of operations including MEW, RERA, DEWA, Modon, SCECO along with planning authorities and different municipalities in these countries.• Leading Alghanim’s Commercial Engineering Group, our electro-mechanical contracting business - more than 2,500 employees in four main divisions: Commercial B2B contracting, Technology, Lighting and Mechanical Service:o Full responsibility of the business’s P&L across all verticals including KPIs across the business.o Managing operational, structural and tactical aspects of the business along with support operations; procurement, supply chain, operational excellence, operational processes and governance.o Talent development & succession planning.o Expanding in energy-related businesses including renewable energy, energy audits & lean practices. • Board member representing Alghanim in our JV with Saint-Gobain for our large insulation business in Kuwait (Kimmco), Saudi Arabia (Simmco) and Turkey (Izocam). Focus on strategy, market and structure as part of the 6-member board. Deep dive into energy consumption & conservation, along with working on three different acquisition projects totaling more than US$ 220 million. Further working on regulations and specifications across the geographies.

• Additional responsibilities leading the overall expansion strategy for Alghanim’s businesses in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar & Oman, in real estate, construction, facilities and procurement in a turnkey fashion. Responsibilities include:o Acquiring real estate, planning projects and permitting, designing and building these projects, all across Kuwait and GCC. o Completion and facilities management of completed projects.o Managing budgets and timelines along with the day to day needs of the businesses.o Stakeholder management both internally (board and businesses) and externally (partners, designers, contractors and suppliers).o Focus on procurement, supply chain, operational excellence and governance.o Talent management and structural agility throughouto Managing multiple third-party sides through out outsourcing platform.• Covers expansion plan for Retail and F&B businesses in these geographies. Includes network mapping, assessment, negotiations and completion of real estate deals in all five countries.• In the six months managed to find and assess more than 120 locations for our F&B and Retail businesses in the five countries, with a conversion rate of 70%.• Undertook major procurement exercise using SAP Ariba and other platforms to source suppliers and contractors in GCC leveraging economies of scale across our businesses.• Expanded using tools, platforms & systems for our operations & asset management systems.• Continued expansion of our facilities management operations in Kuwait and the region.

• In charge of Alghanim’s Construction, Facilities Management & Property teams, leading more than 700 professionals in these domains. Managing more than 100 assets and properties in seven different countries exceeding US$ 1.2 billion in value (details upon request). Responsibilities include:o Soft and hard serviceso Preventive Maintenance Plans o Space utilization and allocationso Energy management and efficiencieso CAFM Platforms & SLA management tools• Leading the project management and delivery of more than 150 projects of all sizes, ranging between retail, commercial and industrial projects in Kuwait, KSA and UAE, completing projects with total values of US$ 750 million.• Managed working relations with international principals of different brands & franchises in retail, automotive, F&B and furniture.• Leading our expansion in the region with our retail and food & beverage businesses in the UAE and KSA.• On the construction side, leading the team through new build and fit out projects in Kuwait, KSA and UAE, where we have completed projects worth more than KD 30 M (US$ 90 M) in 2015-2016, with projects in the pipeline for the next couple of years’ worth more than KD 40 M (US$ 120 M).• Projects completed on design / build basis varying from full construction (new Honda showrooms) to full fit out works (our new HQ in Al-Hamra tower, new showrooms in KSA, food & beverage outlets and many more).• Managed working relations with international principals of our brands & franchises, like GM, Honda, Ford, Costa, Wendys and many more.• Direct management of international architects like SOM, RTKL and others in key projects.• On the Facilities Management front, leading the teams running more than 100 Alghanim-owned & leased properties, looking after contracts and SLA management along with hard and soft services.• Direct management of Alghanim’s Real Estate portfolio, inside and outside Kuwait.

Leading the Facilities Department in Alghanim with a team of more than 500 professionals across eight disciplines, ranging from design and construction, through hard and soft services like maintenance, security, house-keeping, housing, transportation, safety. Currently focusing on growth projects across Kuwait and the region, with construction projects worth more than US 60 M in more than 16 different main projects, with emphasis on:1. Incorporating the latest thinking in space occupancy and utilization.2. Focus on business KPIs of efficiencies, value creation and agility.3. Continuous value engineering for projects throughout the process.4. Teaming with international design firms for the ongoing projects.5. The usual tools of running tasks & projects: timelines, budgets, cost monitoring, SLAs, performance dashboards, etc.

In charge of the Facilities Management Dept., overseeing all aspects related to Alghanim's owned and leased properties, leading a team of 86 staff across all disciplines (from engineers & admins to supervisors & technicians). Main KPIs are:• Managing assets with overall value of multi-hundred million US$, including industrial, commercial, retail & residential facilities.• Carrying out construction / fit-out / refurbishing projects within these facilities, and to external customers, on a turnkey basis and in parallel in many cases.• Planning & Implementation of Planned Preventative Maintenance with monitoring tools and the use of CAFM, SAP, among others.• Carrying out repair & maintenance both through in-house staff and external suppliers & contractors.• Looking after RFQs, RFPs, service contracts, SLAs, rent agreements, statutory licenses and similar.• Overall command on other soft and hard facilities tasks, including security, cleaning & safety, through respective teams.• Directly reporting to Chairman & CEO on their own private residences and projects, including the design, building, commissioning and maintenance of these residences.• Procurement and contract management with the assistance of the Procurement Dept.• Space management & utilization.• Direct contact with international consultants and organizations in the construction & FM fields.• Carrying out real estate / property tasks, including assessments & evaluations, feasibilities, contract managements, statutory tasks, etc.• Initiating, developing, executing and monitoring of capital expenditure plans from short to long term.• Using the latest tools and techniques for running the business, including lean processes, KPIs, Balanced Scorecards, quarterly presentations, routine reporting, coaching & training, etc.
