Biochemist by passion and a teacher by practice xperienced Researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the biochemistry laboratories. Skilled in Microsoft Word, Science, Microsoft Office, and as a medical Laboratory Technologist.My research focus is on drug discovery from medicinal plants. The research (cell-base) targets tuberculosis as a tropical and neglected disease. I am targeting-based drug discovery program that utilizes enzyme inhibition methods to discover drug candidates that target particular enzyme-relateddisease mechanisms. On the other hand, I am utilizing bioinformatics tools such as molecular docking and molecular dynamic simulation to understand molecular recognition pattern in ligand-receptor complexes. I am passionate about teaching and learning and committed to the development of new opportunities to support our students, such as the MSc in Health SciencesTechnology, Medical laboratory sciences, nursing ,Radiology and nuclear medicine which I act as joint programme leader.   I promote  teaching through my lead and lecturing in several modules including Biochemistry for medical students (level 1-3 ) and Molecular biology principles.
