My nature of Job responsibilities while on the Rig VIRTUE-1 Keppel Fels “B” Class Self elevating Amphion system Jack up rig is as follows: Through pro-active efforts, the STS responsibilities and duties will be toAnalysis and management of DuPont STOP program (Safety Training Observation Program). Conducting STOP training for the personnel on board. Participate and promote the Advanced STOP / STOP program. Train allSupervisors in the STOP program and encourage crewmembers to reportunsafe / safe acts and unsafe conditions.Take the necessary action(s) to rectify unsafe acts and conditions as soon asthey are found or reported.Monitor and update the status of HSE related corrective action items (issuedas a result of inspections, Incident Investigations, Audits, etc.)Actively participate and encourage teamwork with creating, revising, andreviewing JSAsI have done helicopter landing independently as H.L.O on Rig Virtue-1 Conducting morning pre tour and weekly safety meetings. Rig Safety orientation and HSE policy induction of Newly arrived personnel. Inspection of Life Saving Equipments, life boats and fire extinguishers. Attending and participating in pre job meetings for the drilling and operating procedures. Coordinating personnel in making Permit to Work, JSA (Job Safety Analysis). Training catering personnel about Personal hygiene, communicable disease and First Aid & Choking.Coordinating in conducting Fire, H2S and abandon rig drills. Safety Auditing and the daily rig rounds. Food and Sanitation Inspection and inspection of galley, accommodation. Medivac for the cases that requires urgent attention for the treatment in shore based hospital. Presentation of health and safety related topics in safety meetings. Making incident report and root cause investigation forms. Maintaining good pubic relations between operating company, rig management and crew personnel. Coordinating OJT program of PETEX on the rig.
