A assisting to Director of Sales to develop new business strategies, analyze business trends to identify opportunities and liabilities and develop strategic and consistent responses for the sales organization.Provides direction, support, coaching and training for the sales team so they are well-prepared to achieve their goals and provide a high level of customer satisfaction. The incumbent is involved in related activities including traveling with the staff, assisting in presenting sales proposals and identifying potential challenges to meeting sales plans and making recommendations to resolve issues.Assists to formulate an Annual Marketing plan and budget. Formulates week to week sales plan.Checking daily banquet functions.Plans sales trips to major cities. Provides feedback to the director of Sales on changing marketing conditions, including trend in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his market areas. Arranges and accompanies clients on site inspection trips to hotels by major clients. Take rooms and banquet bookings.Promotes and produces sales leads for other group hotels. Handle wide variety of accounts. Establish Corporate Rate structure. Design and develop corporate level Competitive Strategy, for business situations.Handling Reservations and establish group rates. Disseminate sales related information to other departments as appropriate. Co - ordinate among departments to carry out successful large group handling, conferences and seminar.Establish new accounts to broaden database.
