This included creating the tools and rules to make it easier to checkout code from several repository control systems, post to code review systems and update the project management systems.• Designed new white box and black box unit tests for use by the testing teams.• Presented “lunch and learn” sessions for peers covering topics such a coding, debugging, and protocols.• Mentored co-op students and new employees to the team.• Sent to the World Series of Poker 2012 event in Las Vegas and the 2013 Grand Prix of Monaco to debug multimedia-streaming problems in BB10 and Playbook devices. -

Wrapped Trillium’s SS7 stack (OS abstraction, MTP2, MTP3, and ISUP) in a multi-threaded C API library that allowed it to be used by the FreeTDM signaling module of FrewSWITCH (open source telephony platform used to interconnect various protocols and medias). Brought the project to market and saw it implemented in systems handling more than 10,000 calls per hour.• Lead developer for hardware test bed. This involved developing and maintaining Bash scripts, Perl scripts, and multi-threaded C applications to unit test PCI/PCIe and USB telephony (T1, E1, PSTN) interface cards.• Responsible for developing and debugging patches for Linux and Windows kernel drivers. This involved dealing with new APIs as new kernels were released, debugging PCI/PCIe, DMA, and IRQ issues. -
