Lead Engagement Quality Reviews (EQR): Oversee and manage the EQR of assurance and non-assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements. Review engagement phases such as planning, execution, and conclusion.Review Engagement Phases: Manage the review of audit phases, assessing planning, execution, and conclusions to ensure all meet regulatory and internal standards.Network Firm Oversight: Lead the review of network firms’ engagements, ensuring alignment with global quality standards and monitoring performance across regions.Regulatory Compliance and Testing: Oversee the review of regulatory compliance engagements, ensuring testing is thorough and meets required standards.Identify and Resolve Deficiencies: Proactively identify gaps in procedures for assurance engagements, AUPs, and regulatory reviews, and work with teams to implement corrective actions.Strategic Planning for Reviews: Develop plans for upcoming reviews, ensuring alignment with Global Office requirements, and address weaknesses in current engagements through corrective actions.Audit Software Champion & Training: Lead training on audit software updates, ensuring staff are well-versed in new tools and methodologies.Support Methodology Implementation: Guide audit teams in applying audit methodologies and updates, offering training and support as needed.Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication: Act as the point of contact for management on engagement quality, providing feedback to the Global Office on network performance.Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvements and share insights with audit teams through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Ensure Consistency in Quality: Monitor compliance with audit methodologies and engagement quality standards, providing regular updates to management.

-Conducting Engagement Quality Reviews of assurance and non-assurance engagements to assess the quality. -Review of an audit engagement’s planning, execution, conclusion phases, and financial statements.-Carrying out reviews of network firms to assess the overall work quality of assurance engagements as a part of network monitoring activities.Conducting a review of regulatory compliance engagement to ensure the work done for the testing is sufficient and appropriate.-Identifying general deficiencies in procedures performed for assurance engagements and AUPs, including regulatory reviews for reporting directors and partners.-Developing and conveying plans for upcoming reviews in accordance with Global Office requirements and conducting reviews for assessing current engagement workings to identify the present shortcomings and resolving them by conducting training sessions or sharing learning content.-Delivering training sessions on audit software and its updates & changes as the nominated ‘Audit software champion’.-Assisting the audit staff in understanding and implementing the audit methodology and its updates via discussions and training where needed.-Engaging in discussions with the firm’s management about the quality of engagements reviewed and communicating with the Global Office regarding the network.

- Leading all aspects of an external audit engagement, including pre-engagement acceptance procedures such as know-your-customer (KYC) activities, conflict and independence checks of the engagement team, and engagement planning.- Setting the overall engagement strategy, conducting risk assessments, determining materiality, executing audit procedures, evaluating audit evidence, and preparing and reviewing financial statements.- Ensuring timely communication with the Manager and Partner regarding the progress, risks, issues, and deviations from the plan concerning engagements, including time, budget, etc.- Coordinating with the clients during external audit engagements while maintaining client relationships.- Managing teams of audit staff ranging from 2 to 14 members as a part of assigned engagements.- Reviewing the work of associate-level employees and providing them with on-the-job training, coaching, and timely constructive feedback to facilitate their learning and development.- Liaise effectively with offshore network firm offices and multinational clients during assurance engagements including 6-way calls, to ensure smooth completion of the job.

- Preparation and review of periodic financial statements for the owners including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- Designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department and resolving issues where the processes were not followed.- Reviewing monthly bank reconciliations and follow up with the banks for any outstanding cheques.- Developing periodic cost budgets and monitoring actual expenditures to analyze and address any significant variances.- Keeping track of accounts receivables and following up on overdue balances.
