• Manage multiple projects for building controls and oversee the required daily activities of all projects under their portfolio.• Manage for successful project implementation through-out Project Process: Initiating – Planning – Execution - Monitoring/Control – Closing• Manage financial aspects of project execution. Complete detailed and accurate monthly financial forecasting reports and participate in our project status review (PSR) meetings.• Oversee project construction for compliance with specifications, codes, installation techniques and safety activities. Review and approve the design of control systems and project specific drawings.• Coordinate the engineering of projects with the shared service group engineering division. Responsible for customer approval of detailed job submittals created for project.• Develop project plans and coordinate the required resources to ensure timely and cost effective installation and completion of assigned projects• Effectively manage the labour work force on each project. In coordination with the Field Technician Manager, Electrical Labor Manager and Construction Managers coordinate field technicians and electricians schedule and on-site activities.• Manage costs, billings and collections. Complete project billings in a timely and accurate format to the client. Maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow.• Manage the selection, ordering, budget and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned.• Pursue, secure and closes change-orders for equitable adjustments to contracts.• Actively participate and contribute in estimating turnover, and pre-construction meetings. Participate in client and construction meetings as required and to disseminate the information to our work force and subcontractors.

Provides accurate project as-built and commissioning documentation.• Pursue, secure and closes change-orders for equitable adjustments to contracts.• Manage financial aspects of project execution.• Coordinate field technicians and schedule labour requirements & installation forces.• Effectively communicates the status of projects to management and customer as required, and provides monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin.• Coordinate regarding projects with local sales staff during bidding and estimation phase.

• Project coordination and engineering with full ownership for engineering projects to provide building automation systems, targeting on time delivery, with scope, budget, and risk management, using six sigma and Project Management Institute methodologies• On-site experience for procurement, installation and commissioning phases for projects in Toronto, ON, Chicago, IL and Manhattan, KSCoordinate processes and liaison between project stakeholders such as Engineering Design Centre, Field teams, and sub-contractors to manage various inter-departmental processes and track projects• Actively work to minimize project risks related to design and planning• Create work-breakdown structure for projects, delegate tasks amongst team members (for team projects), track scope changes and related cost impact, maintain rolling action item lists to track and ensure team progress towards targets/project milestones• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and teams using six-sigma principles and methodologies.• Perform quality check on other team members’ work products and provide mentor-ship to junior teammembers• Sometimes support Sales and Estimation teams to provide assistance, in bidding and estimation phases

• Provide coordination and engineering for design projects to provide building automation systems with lowest total implementation cost• Coordinate between Design, Sales and Project Management departments to manage various inter-departmental processes. • Minimize project risks related to design and planning• Create work-breakdown structure, coordinate tasks amongst team members, maintain rolling action item lists to track and ensure team progress towards targets• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and teams using six-sigma principles and methodologies• Provide mentor-ship to junior team members• Subject matter expert for MS Excel based tools, such as Valve Sizing Tool, tools that increase process efficiency.
