Provides assistance to prospective and continuing students in understanding the policies and procedures of financial aid programs, and the interpretation and compliance of federal regulations - Title IV federal and state financial aid.

Carries out early default intervention initiatives while advising and instructing students on loan procedures, including applications, payments, explaining federal aid applications by accessing electronic files and updating electronic files.Provide information, advice, and counsel individuals and groups, including prospective and current students, parents, faculty, staff, and other professionals in the financial aid community about available programs, application procedures, eligibility requirements, and students’ rights and responsibilities.Manages and coordinates the delivery of financial literacy and default prevention management; develops, recommends, and implements policies and procedures related to the Debt and Default Management Advisor’s day-to-day activities and coordinates the logistics and workflow of the program to ensure the effective delivery of services.Tracks and analyzes activities and success factors; identifies factors that contribute to default and options for default resolutions; identifies critical issues and utilizes problem-solving skills to accomplish departmental goals.Facilitates the college’s constant and ongoing effort to minimize default delinquency in student loan repayment through exit counseling. I ensure a complete understanding of internal practices related to delinquency and default initiatives.I answer staff and student questions regarding financial literacy and default management. Also develops and implements training initiatives for Financial Aid advisors and Student Services team to ensure a relevant understanding of CCSD’s default prevention plan.I assist other departments as needed: Setting up for student/alumni events, contribute to the biannual Program Action Committee with the education department.

As a Dental Lab Technician, I answered multi-line phones, took down orders and shipments. I acted as a liaison between the company and the dentist’s office by delivering orders to Dentist offices. Upon receiving the shipment, I enter data for the incoming and outgoing orders. I perform a quality control process for all appliances and equipment at my stations.
