I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Masters in Public Health with my concentration being Applied Public Health. My professional experience includes working as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) in the pre-hospital setting where I have responded to both critical and non-critical 911 events in Dekalb County, Georgia. I have maintained my certifications for four years now and counting, both at the national and state level. My long-term goal is to obtain a doctorate of medicine degree where I am able to deliver primary care to medically underserved communities. My dream is to use the knowledge I have gained from being an AEMT alongside my acquired knowledge of public health to allow me to care for ailing patients and become a patient advocate.
