This internship is an extension of the Coronasafe internship sponsored by the EGov Foundation.The focus of this internship was on building the Critical Care module, an improved and sophisticated interface for collecting medical consultation data, and the TeleICU module, an interface to remotely monitor ICU patients. Both the modules help enhance and bridge practical gaps in the Care project.The above work of building the modules only accounted for 30% of my time spent in the internship. The remaining time was mostly spent on fixing bugs, fixing warnings, adding minor features, and prepping for production deployment.

ProGrad is a new-age tech school that helps IT companies and Enterprises in recruiting, training, and onboarding employees, emphasis on training. As a Prograd's Expert Mentor Developer Intern, I was part of 2 teams, the Mentoring team, and the Development team, but most of my work was focused on mentoring. The development team maintains the existing software used in Prograd. As a developer, the work includes fixing the reported bugs by the users and adding minor features to enhance the application.The mentoring team trains the mentees in batches that may contain somewhere around 10 to 30 students. The mentees are trained based on the requirements mentioned by their recruiting company. Usually, a batch is assigned 2 or 3 mentors and a manager to monitor the progress of the training. As a mentor, the work includes teaching, clearing doubts, assigning tasks, checking their task completion status, and preparing teaching notes.The internship was kick-started with 2 months of learning that included Java, TDD, Spring Boot, and GCP. During this learning period (27-Sep-21 to 19-Nov-21), we also had to do demo mentoring sessions of what we learned. Later, I along with 2 other mentors was assigned to a batch of 24 girl mentees from UST Global, out of which 8 were under my direct supervision. Their curriculum included Git, Java, TDD, Spring Boot, and GCP which were to be covered in 3 months (22-Nov-21 to 23-Feb-22).Again, I along with 1 other mentor was assigned to a batch of 12 mentees from Taylor & Francis Group, out of which 6 were under my direct supervision. Their curriculum included Git, HTML, CSS, and JS, and MEAN Stack which were to be covered in 3 months (3-Mar-22 to 27-May-22). Like other past internships, this also helped improve my technical knowledge. Apart from that, this internship helped me improve my soft skills like communication and content delivery. The best part of it is that I'm more self-confident and comparatively less fearful of the stage.

MIT Square Indo-Global Research Internship was a college-arranged internship where 5, 3-member teams were selected to research a self-proposed idea guided by an experienced professor from a globally recognized university. Our topic was about finding the most influential nodes in a graph using geometric deep learning and we were guided by Dr. Amira Alturki from the University of Business & Technology, Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, CEO of MIT Square. We have successfully published our work, Predicting Nodes for Effectively Spreading Vaccine Awareness: An Influence Maximization Approach, at the IEEE Conference, 2021 4th ISAECT.

Here I learned the basics of AWS cloud services like VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, ELB, Auto-Scaling Groups, etc. My Intern also focused on DevOps where I helped with setting up a pipeline for testing and code formatting. Also worked with the networking team setting up Elastic Load Balancer (ELB) with Auto-Scaling group to dynamically manage traffic.
