Mukul started learning Hindustani classical vocal music at the age of 10. His initial training started with Shri N G Paramane and then with Mrs Sukhada Kane, Kolhapur. After his graduation, Dr. Vikas Kashalkar (Gwalior Gharana) took Mukul under his tutelage.Mukul completed his Master's Degree in Music from Lalit Kala Kendra, University of Pune and was awarded a Gold Medal. Currently, Mukul is continuing his musical training with Pandit Arun Kashalkar of Gwalior-Agra Gharana and takes guidance from Pandit Sharad Sathe on traditional compositions of Gwalior Gharana. As an upcoming artist, Mukul is widely recognised for his command of Indian classical vocal music and travels extensively in India for performances. He also has been awarded as an 'A' grade performer by All India Radio, and does regular performances.
