I have pursued a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering from the California State University, Sacramento. From my civil engineering program, I have completed multiple structural design courses, in which I designed and analyzed structural elements, such as beams, trusses, columns, and frames. As a candidate with knowledge and skills in structural design transportation and engineering fundamentals, I believe I can contribute to the Structural Design Team.Applying the skills and concepts that I learned in design classes and work experience, I have been able to successfully complete multiple projects. such as a shade structure for the Girl Scouts of the USA, Engineering Transportation design for the Wheatland Bypass, designing structure of an office building, and Analyze final engineering estimates and determine construction costs for projects in Rashtin Construction company. Through completing these projects, I acquired skills in using structural analysis programs, such as SAP2000. Micro Station, Mustan, ACAD, Synchro. I also learned how to use ASCE standards and ASHTO Standards to obtain the various loads and codes the structure will have to support and created spreadsheets that perform structural adequacy checks for all structural elements during the iterative design process.I am a determined and accountable professional who is always eager to learn. I look forward to speaking with you about how I can be an addition to your team of professionals.Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,Khisraw Ghazi
