- Perform patient care by taking vitals, patient history, and triaging- Assist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations, and wound care.- Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes, carry out ear lavages, and run EKGs - Conduct lab testing such as urinalysis, urine pregnancy test, blood glucose testing, monospot, rapid strep and influenza testing, and rapid HIV testing.- Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests

- Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.- Take patient histories and vital signs.- Prepare a patient for examination and treatment.- Apply splints and dressings and prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization.- Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.- Perform phlebotomy.- Dispense medication as directed.- Instruct and educate patients about discharge instructions if applicable.- Perform selected medical and administrative duties as directed.- Handle telephone calls from clients, patients, prospective patients, physicians, pharmacies, as well as other staff.- Provide solutions to patient concerns within the scope of position.

- Provide and enhance patient care under direction of nursing staff and physicians.- Understand provider-to-patient flow to assist physicians and nurses in maintaining an efficient, productive office- Create and maintain relationships of confidence and trust with new and existing patientsProvide assigned patients with routine daily nursing care in accordance with current national and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. - Contribute to continuous process improvement by taking an active role in patient experience and satisfaction.- Measure vital signs, update patient information and changes in medical history, and prepare patients for examination and/or treatment- Assist with transporting patients to examination rooms, diagnostics, and other activities as needed.- Report pertinent physical conditions and behavioral observations to the unit nurse.

- Assemble medical tubing and catheters. - Organize product materials used for medical tubing and catheters.- Operate machineries and ensure they are working at an optimal level.- Ensure quality of medical devices is up to standards.
