• Working as Assistant Manager (IT) at SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd since March 2008 to date my responsibilities areo Responsible for monitoring, evaluating and assessing the processes and procedures of WAN & LAN systems operations to improve efficiency and quality using Cisco 1800 Series Router and Catalyst 2960 Switches. o Implementing, configurating, Installating and maintaining more than Eight Servers round the clock (365 days a year, minimum shutdowns and unavailability of services).o Installed, configured and supported network service such as AD, DHCP and DNS.o Network Management responsibilities include smooth operations of over 300+ workstation with complete configuration.o Responsible for Implementing and Auditing of ISO 27001 Standard Clauses and Network documentation.o Performing, checking activities / checklist of servers including both hardware and software as per ISMS Standard.o Maintaining servers friendly environment i.e. data center temperature, UPS, electricity etc. o Monitoring of 3 remote sites on Redundant WAN Connectivity and providing Technical support to five other Remote Sites.o Installed and configured Windows Servers and Client and provide Network and technical support to the end users, re-imaged hard drives, installed and configured various applications for the end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as needed.o Maintaining different Database operations (Client server configuration, Performance Tuning, and Backup etc).o Integration of Exchange Sever with Ms Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2003.o Involved in IT Procurement and maintaining of inventory of all computers, hardware equipment and configuration.o Deployed, moved, or rearranged desktop computer equipment as required.o Managing IBM XSeries Servers IBM SAN Storage, IBM Tape Library, IBM ThinkPad and IBM Think centre clients.o Responsible for taking Backup using CA (ARC-Serve), Symantec (Backup Exec) and Windows Backup Utility.
