Khuthalela is a hair care brand whose name is derived from the founder's name, Khuthala, which means diligence. The brand not only encourages a diligent and consistent hair care regime, it also promotes self-love for our natural coils.

An illustrated book about a young girl, Loosie demonstrating kindness to a street vendor. This children's book was written during the 2019/2020 grim times of COVID-19. Being confined in the house involuntarily pushed me to find ways to somehow distract and comfort myself with something positive. Perhaps, the book was a subconscious plea for brighter times. It was a sense of comfort and gave me something to look forward to.

1. Classroom Instruction - used prescribed syllabus and delivered engaging lessons to Nursery, K1, K2 and K3 young learners in the Experimental Class.2. Reading - initiated a reading plan (listened to the animated story, wrote it down, and typed it; made reading flashcards with the sentence structures in the story; applied the MEP technique to reading (Modelling, Echo Reading and Partner Reading).5. Multi-Sensory Learning - drew influence from the Montessori approach to teaching and learning, and appealed to the students’ Fine and Gross Motor Skills through various classroom activities.6. Body Language - paid attention to the students’ physical reaction to images, sound and volume, and adjusted accordingly.7. Song and Rhyme - sourced relevant and age-appropriate songs and educational videos that stimulated a fun learning environment. 8. Gate Duty - according to the roster, greeted students and their parents as they entered the kindergarten in the mornings.

1. Lesson Planning - Outline the topic, teaching objectives, language points, lesson procedure, teacher’s reflection, and other information about the lesson.2. Student Assessment - Evaluate and monitor student progress regularly through quizzes and informal tests. These assessments are very useful in improving the areas of development before the examinations. Moreover, the anxiety of writing a formal exam is alleviated during lesson time.3. Reporting - Document student scores. Insert Excel formulas and present basic statistics, such as the pass rate, excellent rate, class average, language point averages (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking), and provide specific problems and practical solutions thereof. Maintain a student progress sheet in the teacher’s file.4. Exam Preparation - Set the examination paper for the written component and the oral test. Grade students’ papers. Create a rubric for the Speaking assessment.5. Curriculum Development - Use the prescribed course material as a guide to prepare tailor-made classroom content. Where necessary, teach a topic that is not covered in the textbook, e.g. writing an essay. Pace out the learning week by week in the teaching plan. 6. Classroom Management - Create a safe and risk-taking classroom environment that is free of judgement. Pay attention to social cohesion amongst the learners and call out any misbehaviour or prejudice immediately. Maintain a calm atmosphere that is conducive to learning.7. Recognition and Reward - After every test, I present the Top 5 achievers to the students. We clap for them and Number 1 gets a treat. The Top 5 reward system not only recognises high performers, but also allows the efforts of the “underdogs” to be noticed, which leads to intrinsic motivation.8. KET/YLE Proficiency Exam - Prepare students for the A2 Key for Schools (KET), Movers (Young Learners English 2) and Flyers (Young Learners English 3) tests ( Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking).

Export incentives were Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS), Automotive Production Development Programme (APDP), and more.2. Verified Production and Rebate Credit Certificates (PRCCs), which were traded to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to offset import duties.
