I’m a sophomore at Howard University, seeking internship opportunities in the media industry. As a Journalism major I have a passion for storytelling and sharing often overlooked perspectives with the masses. Recently, there has been a surge of underrepresented groups desiring a platform and I seek to be a part of the empowerment of these groups. As such my coursework provided me the skills to work with assorted media and share engaging content on public platforms. Therefore I am seeking an internship opportunity to gain experience to refine my acquired skills.
