Reporting to the Executive Vice President for Strategy and Special Counsel to the President, I focus on cultivating community partnerships and advancing strategic initiatives that reflect Dartmouth's commitment to excellence and inclusivity. My role involves collaborating with senior leaders, faculty, students, and local stakeholders to enhance engagement efforts and develop impactful programs that address community needs. I leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continue my commitment to amplifying student perspectives.

• Provides strategic oversight and direction of all activities related to Gamar Foundation• Meets with other board members to conduct business that supports the work and sustainability of the foundation while fulfilling its mission

Has multiple responsibilities such as:• Conducting workups for patients: documenting patient history, measuring visual acuity, performing refractions, measuring intraocular pressure, checking pupil sizes, utilizing the corneal pachymeter, instill eye drops, and more• Preparing patients for minor surgical operations which includes ensuring patients are comfortable, properly numbing the appropriate eyes, reviewing medical histories, and offering patients the proper instructions• Scribing for doctors: pre-charting, taking notes during visits, scanning consent forms, and more• Train new pre-medical students in appropriate tasks• Contributing to the positive atmosphere and striving to engage actively with the clinic to learn more and obtain new skills

I represent the undergraduate student body and manage Dartmouth Student Government and its $68,000 annual budget. My advocacy and pilot programs have led to lasting, institutional change. As Student Body Vice President (2023-), Chief of Staff (2022-2023), and Student Life Committee Co-Chair (2021-2023), I led the campaign for the removal of financial barriers for low-income students. My advocacy efforts led to: • The implementation of a new, free laundry system • The creation of an official program with the Office of Financial Aid to offer bus tickets to high-need students every quarter• Partnership with the Hanover Co-op to provide grocery gift cards to high-need students• Additional bus trips to the social security office for international students• The installation of the 24/7 food pantry • The revision of the freedom of expression and dissent policies• And moreI have a passion to ensure that student’s health and wellness are prioritized on campus. I have directly been involved with:• The elimination of overnight infirmary fees • The implementation of free teletherapy services and creation of teletherapy rooms• Revisions to the medical leave policies • Creation of an advisory group with Dick’s House counselors, doctors, and staff, • interviewed the candidates for Chief Health and Wellness Officer, moderated a mental health roundtable with the Surgeons General, and more. This report provides a comprehensive examination of the costs and benefits associated with implementing state-funded food and cash assistance programs for a broad cohort of immigrants in Massachusetts. It serves as a valuable resource for policymakers and stakeholders considering the implications of Bill H. 135/S. 76, offering insights into the possible financial and economic impacts as well as the potential improvements in health, poverty, and food insecurity for immigrant communities in the state.
