Working office based / site visiting on numerous residential and commercial projects ranging from £500k to £15million in value. The role has facilitated my involvement in numerous matters where I have acted and advised in the following areas: - Interim Payments/ Accounts - Set Offs - Retentions - Variations - Sub Contract Programme - Procurement - Labour & Plant resource allocation - Measurement - Differing Site Conditions - Evaluation of additional/ varied workSpecifically the role involved assisting a Senior Surveyor and working closely with him. I assisted with; monthly valuations, keeping an up to date tracker for all plant used on site, completing take offs and sending out tender enquiries, aiding my mentor with preparations for pre-start meetings and monthly site meetings with the client (e.g. monthly commercial reports, warranty trackers, procurement schedules), as well as phonecalls and writing letters to subcontractors.
