The UAE Investment Map (UAEIM) was a Federal Government initiative designed to promote the UAE Internationally across all Seven Emirates.The management structure of the UAEIM Governing Committee comprised of the local Economic Departments in each Emirate as well as the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Environment & Water.The mandate of this scheme was to attract foreign investment into the UAE.Of note, the Foreign Direct Investment flow into the United Arab Emirates surged 21 per cent in 2012.

In 2009 it had a property development portfolio valued at AED 10 Billion.My key deliverable for this role was to develop the strategic direction and provide effective leadership of the firm's corporate operation.I had Vice President's reporting to me from the following departments;• Property Development• Finance & Funding• Sales & Leasing Department• Marketing & Public Relations• Legal & Sharia Compliance• Human Resources DEVELOPMENT PROJECTSTHE MARINA ARCADE – 64 Level Tower 360 units together with a Retail Mall at Dubai Marina- Project Value AED 950 Million.THE H TOWER – 31 Level Residential Tower joined with a 16 Stoney Commercial Tower at Meydan, Dubai - Project Value AED 600 Million.BAY TERRACE – 21 Level Residential Tower Development at Business Bay, Dubai - Project End Value AED 400 Million.Actions taken for the Company due to the World Financial Crises;● Devised and implemented business structures to downsize the staff and reduce overheads that ensured the Company survived the crises;● I was the first in the UAE to implement the consolidation and amalgamation of development projects by working with buyers on payment plans, reducing prices and transferring customers to alternate projects. This strategy reduced the default rate and maintained valuable cash flow for the company.

Titanium Enterprises was formed in 2002 after the acquisition of The O'Connor Group.It operated under 15 Titanium Group Companies and 4 Titanium Group Trusts and it had a development book value exceeding $1 billion.The Group constructed, completed and directed Large Scale Mixed Use Developments throughout Australia and Asia and it was a Major Developer Member of the Urban Development Institution of Australia. I held the direct responsibility for reporting to the Board Members, Investors and Shareholders.My mandate focused on the following;► Group CEO in charge of Property Development, Construction, Golf & Hotel Companies► Management of Senior Executives► Delivery and Construction Phases ► P&L control on turnover and profitability in line with the boards objectives ► Chairman at Monthly Joint Venture Board MeetingsMAJOR PROJECTS LAGUNA QUAYS - Site area 980ha - The development has an end population of 10,000 people comprising hotels, residential (1900 land lots, villas, medium density), marina for 1000 boats, 3 golf courses & retail facilities - The Whitsundays, Australia.THE EDGE – Site area 520ha - acquisition, master planning for an integrated resort that comprised - hotel, golf course, equestrian centre and villas - Noosa, Australia.PELICAN WATERS GOLF CLUB and PELICAN LINKS – Site area 300ha - acquisition, master planning and development of a Golf Residential sub-division - Sunshine Coast, Australia.COOMERA WATERS - The project consisted of 1,800 titles surrounding a 17-hectare harbour with a 72-berth marina. The Development included a blend of land and villas, Marina Village with commercial and retail outlets - Gold Coast, Australia.RIVERWOOD (里弗伍德) - Site area 600ha - On behalf of Tian An China Investments and their Chairman, Mr David Hui Yip Wing, we were commissioned to provide the vision, master planning and build form feasibilities for a residential, commercial, retail, golf and equestrian development in Beijing, China.

Titanium Sport was the naming right sponsors and successfully staged the Australian Seniors Professional Golf Tournament in 2004 and 2005 and the Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tournament in 2005 and 2006 at their Pelican Waters Golf Course. Titanium further held annually the richest pro am in Australia known as the Titanium Classic.Titanium Sport was also the major sponsor for the Caloundra Triathlon, Sunshine Coast Tennis and the Caloundra Sharks Rugby Leagues Club.

O'Connor Sports promoted 6 boxing tournaments known as the "Respect Series", for Fox Sports that included the Commonwealth Title fight between Shannon Taylor and Julian Holland.

The Group conceived, constructed and completed the full development cycle of 31 residential, commercial and retail projects throughout Sydney, Australia.The Group evolved over the years through numerous mergers and acquisitions until it formed a joint venture in 2002 with one of Australia's business moguls, Eddie Kornhauser.The O'Connor Group then consolidated into a holding company known as Titanium Enterprises.

Started with the company as a General Manager in 1985 and was promoted to a Vice President in 1987.In this position I was responsible for managing the group’s assets and property divisions throughout each state of Australia.HFC Bank was a USA based corporation that was purchased by HSBC Bank in 2007.

I had the privilege of working under Artie Beetson and Russel Fairfax during my time at the Sydney City Roosters.I was the Assistant First Grade Coach in 1990 and the Coach of their Jersey Flegg Teams in 1987, 1988 and 1989.My own career as a player started when I was graded in 1978 and played for Newtown Rugby Leagues Club at the age of 18 after playing football for South Sydney and Sydney City "Easts" Roosters as a junior representative player.

In this position I was responsible for the management and profitable return of a portfolio of properties that included office tower blocks, retail shopping malls, commercial properties and industrial estates.
