IDP were embarking on a large scale replacement for their legacy billing / invoicing system with a cutting edge modern SaaS- Responsible for managing the end to end Project governance and lifecycle management of the implementation of a new SaaS billing system (BillingPlatform), The SaaS now conducts invoicing for IDPs 2 biggest revenue streams totaling close to 1 billion dollars each year- Facilitated the requirements gathering process between the business and the vendor resulting in the agreement of ~330 individual requirements- Conducted Vendor management activities on behalf of IDP, working closely with the vendor team to ensure a complete understanding of requirements and associated acceptance criteria to ensure the solution was built fit for business purpose. - led the Stakeholder engagement activities ensuring the executive team (CFO and CIO) were closely engaged and across all activities of the project. this included reporting to various Steering committees ensuring all of IDPs other dependent projects were aware of current status and target dates- Responsible for the delivery of key project artifacts; business cases, briefing papers,extensive project plans,Status reports, Steering Committee presentations, Risk / issues logs, decision trackers etc- successfully managed a budget of ~$5m for both Capex and PrOpex ensuring the project remained under-budget- led a close knit cross functional team of BA’s, Vendor dev team, functional test team and IDP SMEs based in Melbourne and the Philippines- Managed the internal build of an AWS Lamda based integration layer with the team based in Melbourne and Chennai, India- Delivered organisational change management activities including user workshops, extended user training and User acceptance testing
