Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures, and to ensure continuous improvement in HS&E within the business.My responsibilities include• Ensuring all production plans are completed on time to achieve customer requirements.• Ensuring the resources are in place to enable employees to carry out their roles effectively.• Dealing with employees HR issues, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures.• Motivating and encouraging.• Continuous improvement through techniques such as value stream mapping and 5S.• Dealing with trade unions.• Performance reporting and monitoring on daily, weekly and monthly basis.• Recruitment and interviewing for production positions.• Dealing with suppliers including negotiating new supply contracts.• Ensuring the business complies with its legal requirements for health, safety and environmental.• Ensuring that the business provides a safe working environment for it employees and visitors.• Maintaining, reviewing and updated the HSE management system.• Accident investigations, reporting and analysis of trends• Arranging training to ensure all employees are competent to carry out their roles safely• Chairing HS committee meetings• Management review and preparing the business annual safety plan.
