This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities for the day to day maintenance of Weapon Engineering standards of the Tactical Weapon Systems in the submarines of the Faslane Flotilla. • Carried out maintenance, defect diagnosis and rectification upon equipment as directed by the Babcock civilian Team Leader.
• Carried out work in accordance with Babcock Quality Policy, current procedures and documentation whilst working within current HSE policy.
• Supervised cleanliness and security of the two section workshops.
• Produced technical reports and liaised with external agencies and contractors in support of submarine work packages.
• Ensured that the team were able to support and fulfil the timely completion of work packages.
• Provided support to other departments within the Naval Base as required.
