Continuing to uphold the role previously, but also adding additional duties and responsibilities. Managing the time, talent, creativity, and health of my team of four designers. Stewarding the time of my team by reviewing workloads, schedules, and upcoming creative projects and working hand-in-hand with higher management. Attending high-level discovery, brainstorming, and departmental workflow process meetings with management to remedy any issues. Still simultaneously working and competing in new creative projects, building deliverables, leading many large projects (including Studio G), scheduling creative session times for the team, and being a large part in rebranding the identity of Gateway (in 2015). Presenting creative artwork and solutions to ministries, quality control review of artwork through our routing process, and assisting team members with a variety of creative needs. When the Senior Creative Director was unable to be in office or attend meetings, I stepped in and worked on his behalf.

Working on a variety of projects for a wide-range of ministries within Gateway Church, the fourth largest church in America. Working on creative conceptual projects, building a wide-range of deliverables (sermon series graphics, signage, screen graphics, web graphics, devotionals, magazines, etc), and collaborating with other creatives within design, editorial, social media, video, and web. Art directing designers and production designers on conceptual work. Leading the creative for Gateway’s Womens’ Magazine, Studio G. Upholding the brand of Gateway while also pushing for innovation and progress.

Continuing to create stunning work while helping manage and oversee all art within the agency. Producing quality, conceptual art for clients ranging from start-ups to those in the multi-millions. Working on a variety of print, catalog, website, and UI/UX projects. Maintaining and organizing company projects and calendars.

Working with a variety of B2B clients in a down economy. Creating work that is attractive, intensely focused on building businesses, and increasing profits while keeping client budget, workflow, and timelines.

Learning the ropes of the design industry. I worked hard on a variety of projects, learned quickly, always listened, and asked way too many questions. At the close of my time as an intern, I was immediately offered a full-time position and started there full-time a week after graduation.
