At this summer position, I demonstrated my flexibility and strong work ethic by expanding my role to head lifeguard for two overnight camps in Oregon: Camp Whispering Winds and Camp Cleawox. As a lifeguard, I ensured the safety of adult and youth campers by inspecting the quality of equipment, maintaining pool chemicals, and guarding swimmers. As an activity leader, I encouraged growth and exploration among young girls. I led a variety of activities for overnight campers, including archery, canoeing, low ropes, and arts and crafts. In this freelance interior decoration project for the Cal Poly AEPhi sorority, I designed mood boards, floor plans, and renderings for their living and dining areas. I collaborated with the sorority to create a style consistent with their desired branding and worked within their budget to achieve their design goals.
