I have spent the bulk of my career translating complex business and credit analysis into succinct, actionable investment recommendations. As a buy-side research analyst, I performed detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of a variety of companies / industries to assess both opportunities and risks. That work then had to be synthesized into Investment recommendations, which was presented to an investment committee and also conveyed to external investors.. In 2020, I stepped away from financial services and took on a new role leading the finance, accounting and development team at a local nonprofit (Carnation Farms). It was an opportunity to leverage my financial skills into a day to day operating business, one with a meaningful amount of complexity given the nature of the operations and its non-profit structure. During my tenure at the Farm (both as an employee and a consultant), I was able to develop a solid system of financial practices and procedures while also tackling a number of unique financial challenges. As a result, I became a valuable leader for my team and collaborator with both the Executive Director and the Board. In 2023, I had the opportunity to join LoansIntel, which is a startup focused on streamlining the way credit research is done for private companies that have publicly traded debt. The position has allowed me to lean on my 20 years of credit experience and utilize my broader business knowledge as I also work with colleagues developing sales & marketing efforts with a particular focus on client management. A leader and a mentor in both my professional and personal life, I have enjoyed being active in the community with a variety of volunteer roles including: Seattle Art Museum Supporters (Treasurer / Board member), Pacific Northwest Ballet (Advisory Council), LPGA Amateur Golf Association (former President / Board Member), and the First Tee of Greater Seattle (Mentor / Volunteer Coach for Girls Golf Program).
