I am the librarian and also support many vulnerable students throughout the school. I administer reading tests for y7 and 8 pupils and use that data to identify students who need extra support with their reading and then provide paired reading sessions. I actively encourage reading to all pupils and reward their efforts with achievement points and certificates and end of year prizes.I am also a Designated Safeguarding Lead and provide emotional support to any student that needs it.
