Worked to re-develop the training and education department and course offerings on a state-wide scale for commercial construction in California. Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, produced and executed over 20 live and recorded educational web-based experiences, and reintroduced more than 10 individual course offerings; reaching more than 1,500 individual members (and non-members).Additionally, oversaw and further cultivated the following committees/councils: Small Business Council, Training Advisory Committee, and Small Business Construction Expo (SBCX) Committee. Worked hand-in-hand with each department of the organization to optimize outreach efforts to industry for educational opportunities. Regularly reported to the Construction Education Foundation, 11 district, and state boards of directors on departmental progress and planning. Oversaw marketing, finances, staff, and overall function of the training and education department.

Engaged elected officials and government agencies in the greater Bay Area, advocating for the commercial construction industry; acting as point of contact and resource. Regularly disseminated local, state, and federal-level information to four district boards with regards to political, legislation, and regulatory updates affecting the industry. Supported execution of the Legislative Summit; a two-day event bringing membership to decision makers in Sacramento, and giving a voice to the construction industry with regard to specific policy stances and face-to-face conversation. Organized two successful expo-style events welcoming more than 18 individual government agencies and over 100 individual members. Maintained new and ongoing stakeholder relationships both internally and externally of membership to further advocate for commercial construction in the state.

Directly managed the business-to-school district relationships for the Castro Valley school district's Career Pathway Trust (CPT) grant which included: Health & Biotech, IT, Engineering, and Graphic DesignSupported the greater Eden Area CPT grant efforts, impacting more than 1,000 students across eight Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways, between four school districts. Efforts measured by way of Pathway-specific experiences such as guest speakers, field trips, Manufacturing Day coordination and more. Developed and administered a summer internship program which providing soft skills, interview readiness, and human resources workshops for all qualified students. Additionally, coordinated outreach, placement, interviews, and onboarding with internship business partners. Program basis are still in place and used by staff. Coordinated, marketed, and devised outreach strategy to ensure stakeholder and regional industry participation at two annual career fairs which involved more than 50 individual companies/organizations and involved volunteer student support. Managed over 250+ contact relationships for Work-Based Learning (WBL) efforts.

Daily support of the Executive Director and office needs: handled communication (managing calls, emails, filing, and administrative organization), board meeting preparation and minute taking, and event logistics. Managed, marketed, and organized Chamber events from monthly mixers to large-scale community parades and multi-day festivals. Grew vendor and attendee participation by more than 75% in first year, streamlining processes for future preparation and event needs. Responsible for content, editing, sponsorship, and delivery of monthly Chamber Newsletter, reaching +300 member companies.
