Residential and Commercial Mortgage Brokers Remuera.This was my first self employed role after 23 years with ANZ. My job description was to set up residential mortgage brokering relationships with the main Banks. This was in the early days of brokering, when many banks did not pay brokerage or it was capped. The Director, Noel Woodford, was a great teacher, 3 rules of brokering, "see the people, see the people, see the people".He taught me well and showed me how to do deals that did not fit with with the Banks and introduced me to many Non Bank lenders. I now still deal with the 2 sons, of one of the Lender's Noel knew, who have stuck with the family lending business!
