Kim Mackenzie is an Atlanta-based investor and strategist for Cox Enterprise’s Strategy and Investments team. Kim is focused on developing and executing Cox’s overall white space growth efforts and leads Cox’s investments in Education and broader Software/Tech-Enabled Services. As part of her role, she invests for Socium Ventures, Cox’s Series A+ venture fund.Kim has been at Cox for the past 10+ years, working in a variety of finance and strategy roles. She formerly led all of Cox Enterprise’s Atlanta Venture ecosystem partnerships, which includes Techstars Atlanta, Techstars Impact, Engage, Endeavor and Startup Runway. Before Cox, Kim worked at EY and received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Georgia.
