Under the Space Technologies and Applications Unit at the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, my current and future high-level tasks and activities include:- Automation of internal processes- Assistance in developing the strategy for the next National Space Plan- Capability mapping of the Czech industrial and academic landscape- Promotion of and advising on ESA programmes and tools within the Czech space sector- Support for activities to align the mutual needs of Czech entities and ESA, including the Czech ISS Activities Request for Information (CIARFI)

As part of my traineeship in the Capabilities & Country Support division under the Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness (CIC) directorate, I supported and coordinated processes related to invitations to tender in New Member States, Associate Members and Cooperating States of ESA with the general aim to expand the space capabilities of the European industrial landscape.Gained experiences:- Knowledge of end-to-end ESA tendering schemes and proposals, implementation of industry/academia activities into ESA, and the ESA procurement environment- Interaction and cooperation with industry, academia, industry points of contact, and government representatives (i.e. delegations), in particular with Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia and Slovakia- Preparation, organisation and participation to meetings and events: bilaterals, task force meetings, negotiation meetings, milestone meetings, 1-to-1 advisory meetings with industry/academia, annual reviews of country-specific activities, company visits- Organisational tasks (creating and preparing documents and presentations): minutes of meetings, industry briefing for upcoming call for proposals presentations, training courses, annual reviews presentations, statements of work- Developing and supporting industry training courses: how-to-write-a-good proposal, from proposal submission to kick-off meeting, project management & project control, technical requirements specification
