During my time in this position I proposed and implemented a change from AS400 Operations operating 24/5 into Data Center Operations operating 24/7 effectively enhancing the roles, resposibilities and support functionality for the company. Accomplishments included migrating AS400 end user print responsibilities to the print shop; Open Systems server performance monitoring and escalation, exchnage gateway monitoring and escalation, Open System backup monitoring, tracking, and reporting, Changing the AS400 monthly file transfer process from a manual tape load at three locations to an elctronic file transfer process.
