Admitted to the Bar in 1982, Kim Richardson has successfully concluded literally thousands of cases involving serious personal injury and wrongful death, disability insurance cases, criminal defence, and other litigation. With experience at all levels of the Nova Scotia Courts, He is prepared to aggressively seek justice for clients. He has also been a full-service real estate lawyer for 30 years and has handled thousands of real estate transactions over this period, including buying, selling and refinancing of lots, homes, and commercial properties. Kim is a founding member of the Atlantic Province Trial Lawyers Association and the Nova Scotia Criminal Lawyers Association, has been involved in the Shelburne Youth Centre settlements and has maintained a busy family law and divorce practice. He received a 25 year practicing certificate from the Nova Scotia Barristers Society in 2008.Kim is also active in community service and has sponsored local childrens' and oldtimers' hockey teams, has accepted students from local high schools for cooperative education programs, raised funds for Feed Nova Scotia and Relay for Life, and assists in a variety of fundraising endeavours for local charities, teams, and clubs.
