My role includes recruiting and training authority foster homes. I also license these homes, as well as agency foster homes in my catchment area. I participate in case/support planning and financial meetings regarding the children placed in the foster homes on my caseload. If a care concern is received regarding a home on my caseload, I assess the reported concern and make recommendations. I maintain the bed registry list for my Region, and I assist in matching placement requests with homes that have open beds in them.
