Director providing strategic space solutions and project development for 10 million square feet of a higher education campus.

Oversee and manage the 11 person Facilities Planning deparment. Planning manages space inventory and provides recommendations on space allocation, coordinates pre-design and space planning for all clinical, teaching and research facilities, and manages leased property occupied by the Health System. The primary goal of the department is to help address the facility needs of each department at UCDHS. Scope includes program planning, space management, analysis and reporting, capital planning, furniture planning, lease property development, property management, transition planning and move coordination.

Space programming and analysis for all types of space including clinical, hospital, academic, etc.. Project management ranging from small moves and reorganizations to major capital improvement projects. Master planning for hospital and clinics, preparing for the future, developing strategies for seismic compliance and adapting to fit the ever changing budget climate. Provide team leadership and supervision to several planning groups.

• Worked closely with a variety of federal government agencies throughout the Rocky Mountain Region to renovate, move or acquire federally owned or leased space. Created space plans, design details, specification and finish selections. Administered and evaluated requests for proposals, adhering to governmental procurement regulations
