Snr Business Program Manager - Contract Executive for Microsoft Services Business responsible for Australia, New Zealand and member of the Asia Pacific and Japan Regional TeamThe APJ team reports direct to Microsoft Corp. I'm based out of Australia supporting the Microsoft Services business in the Sales process in qualification and stakeholder in deal pursuit responsible for contract structure, negotiations and compliance approvals . Participate in transition and quality reviews for current engagement to ensure compliance and meeting all terms and conditions. Working with and advising senior management and executive stakeholders in any aspect of contracting . Leading pursuit team and legal in face to face negotiations with Customers, Partners and subcontractors to ensure mutual outcome and within boundaries acceptable to MS Corporation. Role includes but not limited to negotiations , strategy and deal shaping, compliance with policy and process, QA of engagements in flight, Projecy Mgmt Excellence and overall to ensure commercially viable deals and approved by the wider stakeholder board . Formal and informal coaching and mentoring of Services resources and teams in educating , developing skills and experiences based on lessons learned, understanding from customer perspective ( having working for many years as FTE in customer environments EG Public Sector and Banking & Finance). I also draw on this expertise to break down barriers by educating various customer & sectors with clarity on private sector commercial requirements and reasons to mutual resolutionA member of the Corporate Process Improvements team in development of policies, procedures , tools and templates for deployment to world wide services field teams Actively involved and as a stakeholder in supporting sales and pursuit team meet & exceed sales targets, delivery teams maintain compliance and minimise any loss of negative impact on the engagement commercial targets . I'm responsible for complete end to end management and compliance for all solicitored and unsolicitored proposals for Novell Asia Pacific. Includes driving support for Direct and Indirect Sales and Channel. The process integrates with Sales methodology i.e. Miller Heiman and transitions off to Services teams post Contract finalisationAlso, concurrently Im the Contracts Manager for Asia Pacific - for all contract development and approvals and ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance.Secondary role is Management of the Compliance Team (SW Licence and Audits) and ongoing Process Improvement initiatives across all business areas.Lead a formal team of SME's for Bids and Contracts & Compliance. Lead, manage and develop numerous virtual teams across AP as daily part of my role. Also includes Customer facing and negotiation as required
