Screenwriter and a filmmaker. Worked as a script developer and screenwriter on various Kenyan TV shows including Sumu la Penzi, Jane and Abel, My Father’s House, K.E.R.U, among many others. Written several films for Africa Magic Original Films. Participated in various workshops by Good Karma Fiction. These workshops which included writing for TV, marketing film in Africa and music for TV, facilitated the creation and development of the drama series Country Queen which was filmed in 2021 and set to release on Netflix in 2022.Alumni of the 2014 & 2016 Maisha screenwriter’s labs mentored by leading East African screenwriters and filmmakers including Ekwa Msangi and Angella Emurwon.In 2015 helped to develop the story for and also directed 52 episodes of the Swahili soap opera Majaribu.Participated in the 2017 Script Brain Room conducted by award winning German screenwriter and filmmaker Natja Brunckhorst.In 2019 Participated in a 6 month One Fine Day films Writers Room workshop in developing a TV series conducted by Timo Goessler and Linda Brieda.In 2021 participated in the 48hr film project Nairobi where the film produced won Best Film and was one of the 15 films from around the world selected to screen at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
